MBO & Co invests in Groupe IEF2I Education, one of the French leaders in higher education specialising in digital and IT professions from first-year university to Master degree.
Founded in 1998 by Chantal Berdaa, Groupe IEF2I Education offers 20 courses to more than 2,200 students across 4 campuses in the Paris region and enables these students to benefit from an apprenticeship programme. The group’s strength lies in the educational quality of its courses, the availability of digital and innovative learning tools and the depth of its network of more than 3,000 partner companies, ensuring very high rates of professional integration.
MBO & Co is joining forces with the management, led by its President Chantal Berdaa, who remains the majority shareholder, and with Alliance Entreprendre, a shareholder since 2008. This reconfiguration of the shareholding structure comes at a time when Groupe IEF2I Education is accelerating its development, marked in particular by the opening of a new 2,300sqm campus in Vincennes next September, which will accommodate some of the group’s 2,200 students. With the support of its shareholders, the Group intends to implement an ambitious growth plan which will involve the opening of new campuses, the expansion of training offer, the pursuit of efforts to innovate in learning methods as well as targeted acquisitions.
