Ladislas Smia joined MBO+ in 2022 as Head of Sustainability. His main role is to accelerate MBO+’s positive-impact investor approach, ensuring that ESG risks and opportunities are properly factored into our value creation models. He is also responsible for developing ESG partnerships with all the firm’s stakeholders, in particular clients, market organizations, and regulators. Lastly, Ladislas ensures that the ESG principles applied to our investments are also reflected in the management company’s internal policies.
Ladislas has more than 15 years of ESG experience. Before joining us, he headed the Sustainability Research team for 12 years at Mirova, a Natixis asset management company dedicated to responsible investment. He started his career in 2007 as a sustainability consultant with PwC. He is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines de Nancy and holds a Master’s in Sustainable Development from HEC Paris.
In his spare time, Ladislas enjoys casual tennis, playing guitar, and board games with friends and family.
