Didier has 30 years of private equity experience.
As a GP, Didier co-founded and co-led the private equity arm of Groupama Insurance from 2000 to 2014. He established the firm as a leading French platform by offering direct buyout and mezzanine funds alongside the main funds of funds business. He grew it from €100 million to more than €2 billion with capital raised mainly from third-party investors and a full range of fund investment programs.
As an investor, he has served on the ICs of direct investment funds and been directly involved in more than 100 PE fund investments in Europe, the US, and Asia, across all segments. As well as a strong track record, Didier has gained a comprehensive view of the industry’s best practices and a culture of serving institutional clients.
Didier graduated from Paris Dauphine University with a Master’s 2 in Corporate Finance.
When he’s not occupied by funds and risk management, Didier plays golf at the national senior amateur level.
